Upcoming American Staffordshire Terrier Litters in Fort Worth, TX
Planned litters, waitlist priority, and what "upcoming" actually means at a small, one-litter-at-a-time program.
Because we breed one dam at a time rather than running several litters in parallel, our upcoming-litter timeline is shorter and more predictable than a large kennel's — but it also means spots fill from the waitlist first. If you know you want a Winterwood puppy but nothing is currently available, this is the page (and the waitlist) that gets you there.
How the waitlist works
Joining the waitlist isn't a deposit or a commitment — it's simply a way to be contacted directly, by phone or text, before a litter is posted publicly on this site or announced anywhere else. Waitlist families get first opportunity to reserve, in the order they joined, once puppies are born, eyes are open, and we have a real sense of each puppy's markings and temperament.
To join, call or text 817-709-1336 with your name, general timeline, and any preference on sex or color. We'll let you know honestly where that puts you relative to our next planned breeding, rather than giving a vague "soon."
What determines timing
A planned litter depends on the dam's cycle and on both parents having current, clear health testing on file before breeding — we don't breed on a fixed calendar just to keep puppies flowing. That means timing can shift by a few weeks in either direction, and we'd rather tell waitlist families the truth about that than promise a date we can't guarantee.
Reserving from an upcoming litter
Once a litter is confirmed and puppies are born, we move waitlist families over to the reservation process in the order they joined. You're welcome to reserve sight unseen based on litter updates and photos, or wait until puppies are a few weeks old to choose based on markings and early personality.
