Winterwood Amstaffs keeps litters small on purpose. Rather than running multiple litters at once, we breed one dam at a time so every puppy gets real handling, real exposure to household sounds and surfaces, and real one-on-one attention before they ever meet a new family. When a litter is born, this page is the first place it's updated — before social media, before anywhere else.

Each available puppy listing includes sex, color, birth date, current weight, whether they're already reserved, and price. We photograph puppies regularly through the litter so you can watch personality develop, not just see a single newborn photo. If you see a puppy you're interested in, call or text 817-709-1336 rather than emailing — litters move quickly and phone inquiries get priority scheduling for a home visit or video call.

How we confirm availability

A puppy isn't "available" just because it hasn't been mentioned as reserved. We confirm current status by phone before taking any deposit, so you're never sending money for a puppy that was placed an hour earlier. If you're calling about a specific puppy from this page, say so — it helps us pull up the right litter immediately.

What to have ready before you call

To move quickly once you've found the right puppy, it helps to know: whether you're looking for a specific sex or color, whether you have other pets or children at home, and your general timeline for bringing a puppy home. None of this is a formal application yet — that comes after you've chosen a puppy — but it lets the call be useful instead of just an availability check.

If this litter isn't the right fit

Sometimes the puppy you want isn't in the current litter — wrong color, wrong sex, or you're just not ready yet. That's fine. Get on the waitlist for the next litter instead, and we'll contact waitlist families before a litter is ever posted publicly.
